Thank you for your interest, and we are truly sorry we are unable to consider your work.  If you submitted a query prior to October 5th, 2009, you should receive a response.  Queries sent after October 5th, 2009 will be deleted from the mail server.

Submission Instructions:

Halyard only takes queries via e-mail. Please do not send queries via snail mail. We don't accept full manuscripts unless explicitly requested. Trust us, this is good for everyone: you don't have to spend on printing and mailing, our shelves don't collapse, trees live, global warming is avoided, our e-mail inboxes are of manageable sizes, hooray! Send a query (NOT your manuscript) to submissions@halyardagency.com, being sure to include the following information:

• Author's Name
• Contact Information
• Book Title
• Genre
• Word Count
• Plot Summary

Any other information you choose to provide is optional, but do please keep the length of the entire query to a single printed page. It's incredibly hard to condense your work down to so few words, but all we need is a general idea of what you have to offer.

If your project sounds like something we're looking for, then we'll ask for a sample of it, and we'll discuss your project further.
